- Was required to use a specific sequence of notes to create a unique melody

2021 This Is How We Begin
- A percussion feature written for the Orchestral Tools Full Contact competition
- The premise was a world where spoken language has died off and humanity now uses drums for
communication
- For this piece I created a sample library of household items used as drums, then I created a language
with a 400 word vocabulary in order to build the conversation that occurs in the music

- I had a very specific vision/scene in mind when writing this, which I'm now using as inspiration
for the video game I am developing
