For my annual Halloween song that I record with my kids I picked the version of Wayfaring Stranger from the "Last of Us Part 2: Covers and Rarities" album, as sung by Ashley Johnson (Ellie) and Troy Baker (Joel).
For our version, my boys help with the singing and my daughter plays Ellie in the video. This arrangement includes the guitar and main vocals, as in the album cover. But then I added a solo violin, a ronroco, a mandolin, and a chorus of harmonies. The last verse features my best impression of Troy Baker doing Joel's singing voice.
This was filmed in Sparks, NV and the North Valleys near Reno.
